Yes, Matt & I are super shoppers. I went through the ads this evening when I got home from work. Made 2 lists- one for Fry's and one for Safeway. Tonight was the Safeway trip. Here were our purchases:
BBQ sauce, 2 jars salsa, 5 boxes Chewy Granola bars, 2 boxes Life Cereal, 10 large bottles of AZ Iced Tea, 5 Eating right frozen meals, 3 boxes Eating Right frozen waffles, 2 angel food cakes, 2 loaves whole wheat bread, 4 packages of Hillshire Farms deli meat, 2.5 lbs nectarines, 3 lbs. peaches, 2 red bell peppers, 2 lbs. strawberries, 7 lbs of lean ground beef= $84.18
How much did we save?
$86.41
That's right- we saved more than we spent.
We are going to try and beat the 51% savings tomorrow at Fry's.
